Ben’s dad fell and let go of the kite everyone thought be had lost his kite but it slashed in the water and Ben’s dad dived into the light blue water and brought the kite back to Ben.
On a hot windy day, a little boy named Ben was walking around the house playing around until his parents gave him a gift, Ben was so excited he went straight to it and unwrapped it his eyes was amazed at what his gift was and looked at his favorite color kite. He asked his dad if they could go on the beach because it was a sunny day so they could fly the kite, dad replied,” Yes sure son, it's a hot day so why not ,LET go to the beach and fly my black and blue dragon kite and then dad wanted to have a tun and dad was running his best and then he tripped and he let it go and then the kite flew away then dad ran and he tripped over again and again and the tide went closer and he tripped once more and let go of the kite and there on the kite splashed into the water and dad saved the kite. Finally they all went home.
Ben was sad at first then became happy and the moral of the story was always be responsible.

Hey eden I liked how you retold the story. It helps when writing to say the sentences out loud in our heads to help form our sentences with the correct words. It's interesting how you retold the story in your own way.
